Your words make my brain sad.

"well known black spot" ... some policing to raise revenue/awareness... if they cannot be had for speed then lower the limit

Or make it a dirt road so they fall off at a lower speed
yeh I know bad example

but the point is people everywhere will do things that's bad

to smaller road users

I have been in and seen results of avoidance in accident situations

for example in early 80's ex wife driving in wa on dirt

she grew up on dirt

lost it badly

thru heaps of trees bush

her side of the car, spotless

mine totally written of

was touch and go on amputating my left arm

still have bark in the arm,lol

have seen this many times professionally

survival instincts.

WAS

I was saying something about how it isn't safe for bicycles to travel on highways with motorized vehicles? They are an obstruction to traffic and I wouldn't be surprised if the cyclists received a citation.

FIXED

I was saying something about how it isn't safe for idiots to do stuff? They are a danger to all and I wouldn't be surprised if the idiot received a sentence restricting them to home.

Bit extreme .. but there you go. A better troll.
Of course I'd be blaming the motorcycle rider in that instance. The bicycle was on the extreme edge of the road, yet the motorcyclist hit him and the leading bicycle too. Of course being a road motorcycle it would never do to ride it into the dirt on a straight line and bring it to a stop.

Others take a different point of view... if the road was cambered with a 8 foot high safety barrier it would be safer. Of course there would be no view, may as well be inside a stadium with a roof to keep it dry. Yep very safe. No joy at all.

At least the front rider had a cushion to fall on...the motorcycle rider.

I guess if you're going to look for a silver lining in that black-assed cloud, that'd be it.

been riding bicycles and motorbikes since a long time, i feel like they have so much in common that there should be an understanding. i use my bicycle for commuting and racing and the moto for long camping trips.
that being sayed i never had a bad experience on my bicycle with a motorbiker. only with sccoters which are allowed on bike trails in the netherlands.

Some good deeds just don't go unpunished.

Got buzzed by one idiot in a Dodge truck last nite on the ride. I'm still not sure why 'cause we were in a mile-long straightaway with nothing coming. All I can figure is he wanted a better look at my sexy ass and got distracted.

Dodge

Suprised he didn't smoke you, seems that Dodge pickups have the highest percentage of assholes for some reason. Chipped, loud exhaust and bull balls , or is it Ram balls on the trailer hitch.

That's been my experience. Dodge = IME it isn't the dually trucks, but the 4x4s that are the real yahoos. Followed closely by PSD drivers.

BWalsh being the exception to the rule.
