That you would think this scares me. That you would admit that you so think is beyond belief. The MSM and competence aside from intended distortions to make things out to fit their own agenda doesn't exist.

I'm on the advertising side of the media business...print media. I don't assume the worst yet it's often confirmed. What's worse than ignorance is lack of common sense combined with politically correct agenda belief based bias..

Open minded is rare... best to garner information from multiple sources to ferret out truth. Most don't put the time into doing that...

Well, the guy obviously cant ride. Someone who could would have easily gotten around those bikers. I just figured if he cant ride, he's probably used to crashing.....so....stick to what you know

It's painfully obvious he doesn't know how to ride... He should forget everything he knows, and get some proper training before he kills someone.

Reporters generally do know about the clips. Overpaid anchors just read words and try to look good. Lauer isn't a reporter, and hasn't been for almost 30 years.

His eyes were stuck to his faceshield. He SHOULD have been able to go either way.....but no he aced the poor dude on a bike up the tail pipe, there literally isn't a smaller target on the road.

Fixated like a mother, that guy on the SV was only going one way sadly, lucky for him he latched onto the cyclist and not on coming traffic. Sucks ass for those cyclists though.

Looks like the guy hasn't learned what countersteering is.

Not hard to imagine his grip on the bars tightening (and something else puckering) as he turns the bars LEFT to try and steer around the cyclists. Just look at the increasing arc he rides just before impact.

Very annoyed, but not surprised, that the dumb ass media is blaming this accident on speed. That guy was doing less than 30 MPH, guaranteed. The fact that the cyclist was not killed is testament to this fact. The only things that caused the accident were target fixation and no useful understanding of how to really countersteer. So for all you guys who say "fuck countersteering, just go ride the damn bike," THAT is why you learn how to consciously countersteer, because there WILL be a day where you need to suddenly lean more and turn sharper than you were expecting.

Idiots like that guy are not helping the image of motorcycling.

At least he was geared up.
