Bryce,

Thank you for taking all the time necessary to write such a great, and comprehensive ride report! Yours is the best ride report I have ever read. You are obviously an intelligent, and well educated man. Your writing is superb, and your photographs are even better!

I respect your honesty in dealing with the Marine recruiter. I have no doubts that an intelligent, and honest man such as yourself will have little difficulty finding rewarding employment. I wish you the best of luck in that regard, and I will also add my prayers along with my good wishes.

Spud

Bryce, I just read this whole report over the past week and thanks for the amazing stories, wonderful photos and great reading! If you ever take a trip to Canada you've got a place to stay and I would offer you a job if you could get a work visa up here.

Thanks again!

Great journey, thanks for sharing. Bummer about the mark on the record. But like you said other doors are opening. I have a name of a gent I know very well that is a retired Marine and Oregon National Guard. He now works for the state of Oregon helping vets find/transition to the job market, aka helping find jobs. PM me if you want his name.

oh ya, also inspired me to take a closer look at the XR for my next bike. Was going to pull the trigger on a KTM 640 but after seeing you rode 20,000 miles with minimal mechanical problems made me think twice.
