Thanks for this. My bag sucks, and I'm picking this one up!

Here she is, already added GIVI E21 sidecases and crashbars, and installed my Garmin 276C mount yesterday. Need some new tires for gravel roads. Debating over Tourances or Heidenau K60 Scouts. I want something that will give me long tire life, so the TKC's are out.

Anaki III's man. I won't use anything else now for tire life. Maybe not the best of then on gravel or dirt, but whatever

How do you like the E21s? I really like that they are top loading. 21L a piece seems a little small but the way I pack I put most of my stuff in a waterproof roll bag on the pax seat.

Come on man, keep up will ya

The last couple of post turned from tires to sidecases pretty quick, plus an E21 sounds like a tire model too.

The GIVI E21's are really nice. I usually travel pretty light when I go away for a few days, so they fit the bill, and I didn't want a giant set of cases for everyday riding. Any heavy stuff goes in the sidecases and the lightstuff goes in the topbox. With the tankbag I have lots of storage. Camping gear will go in a waterproof duffel across the back seat.

I love the top opening feature, not a fan of the side opening cases. Plus the price was right, the racks were $168, and the cases were $158.

My Wee came with Motopak soft sided packs. Will the racks I have accommodate say the GIVI E21 hardsiders?

Doubtful. The Givi cases require a Givi or SW Motech rack to work in most instances. It's the way they mount.

I'm kinda fond if my caribou case myself. They are side opening, but a cable stops the lid from flopping open. I stack everything in the cases lid, then shut it, and when it opens usually strays put. I dont have to pull everything out if I have a lot in there if I need an item on the bottom.

I used Pelicans on my FZ6 and generally liked them but no matter how nicely you put stuff in there it would all slide around and get "mushed" to the bottom. No big deal but it usually required me to dismount the case to close it again without getting stuff caught between the lid and the case body.

Feedback on price?

Bottom line: looking for feedback on a dealer's asking price, and what you all think my target should be.

'09 WeeStrom, no ABS. 9800 miles, excellent condition. It looks like it has never been off pavement. Tires look to be fairly fresh, Jesse panniers, Givi top case, AdventureMoto bash plate, Givi engine guards. Runs great, feels solid. Talking with the dealer, they said it was an older husband and wife who had nearly identical Wee Stroms, same mileage, and traded them both in on a Scrambler and a Bonneville.

Dealer is asking $6850. NADA says average retail is $6486. What do you think?

Here's the actual bike. Thanks in advance!

Times when I find a bike that already has all or a lot of the Farkles I'd add myself, I'm usually willing to spring a few extra bucks cause I know I'd be spending more than that to put the Farkles on myself. Not to mention the time I'd spend doing so on top of that.
