What is with dealers only stocking automatic BRZ's?

Who the hell would buy an automatic with a car like that?

My mind: it boggles.

At least it's not a CVT

It's eery to hit the gas when I get onto a busy road and just hear the engine whine with no shifting, then to look and see I'm doing 60 mph.

Yes, the manual is a big part of the great driving experience. My fav thing to do of late is to go out late at night and scream around. Fun car.

Looks like a really fun car. A lot of similarities to my 968 I think.

Well, I did it. Just bought a silver one with manual.

And thus ends my CVT experience

Gotta say, the car is a blast! I just spent an hour driving around aimlessly. I'm glad to say that it is both fantastic on backroads and very comfortable on the highway. I've already hit 65 miles!

2013 BRZ Limited 6 Sp manual

My wife bought one a week ago. Her '06 Honda S2000 was destroyed in a march 18th hail storm. Can't buy those anymore so she ordered this Satin White '13 BRZ Limited 6 speed manual a week after hail storm. It came in last week.

Here it is straight off the delivery truck. So far after 200 miles she loves it.

She added WeatherTech floor mats and has the Subaru cargo tray on order. Also on order is the home link rear view mirror and wheel locks. The front end will be capped with the 3m paint wrap to prevent rock chips to the paint.

Cool. I got the package with the wheel locks and home link. It also came with the trim piece in aluminum on the upper fender by the mirror. Already installed, it was not like I had a say in the matter :loll

That said, I find the home link mirror really cool. LED directional compass, can open and close garage door, also auto dimming when lights come on. Very cool.

I read that as can opener In the mirror?

Mine also came with wheel locks, though haven't installed them yet. I'd like to add something to the front; that plain black piece below the bumper has to go. Also need to check out the jack and such. It was 9:30 at night before I was off the lot.

They didn't have time to install it on this car she needed a car ASAP. The Honda was sold as is and shipped to Illinois. We are good friends with the Finance manager there who actually sold her the honda back in '06. He was in sales way back then. He took care of the Honda sale for her as well.

I actually was shopping for a nice used s2000, but the low mileage cherry ones were 20k and up, and the cheap ones were beat.

I do prefer new, if i can, I like the warranty and new car smell
