BIG bolt handle! You could wear a catcher's mitt with no problem.

Firearms International Model D

My F.I. cal .380

Built in the mid 70s in Spain by Star Firearms or built in the US from Star parts? Not a whole lot of info other it being a possible prototype of the Colt Mustang.

Tiny gun!

Definitely not the original grips. Almost appear homemade but they fatten up the gun for a better hold IMO.

"I'm also going to have to strip that thick, shiny finish Remington used. It makes the wood look like it's made of plastic. Why would they put that awful finish on such a nice gun?"

I had the same thought but being a cheap SOB, I took after it with 4-0 steel wool. It looked pretty nice when I was done. Total cost about $3.00.

photo my mother took today with my little P&S of me shooting the Mossberg 930, lucky timing!

by-the-way, she was the one who put the first shot to my Marlin 1895 45-70, H&R Buffalo Special 45-70 and she also shot my H&R single shot 12g, which kick like a mule. And 5 consecutive shots with the 930.
I'm a VERY PROUD son today!!

Very similar to the Berreta Onyx line but selling for $489.00 for SxS & $529.00 for O/U. Once I pick it up I will post pic's.

That is very nice. I'm a big fan of side by sides. They just swing right for me.

AR15 Build

I have a MEGA forged lower that I'm looking to finally build into a long range benchrest type AR. Not for competition, just Coyotes at up to 600 yards.

I already have a 16" Carbine so looking to go to the other end of the spectrum with this one.

Want to stay with 223 so I don't have to reload another caliber.

Need recommendations for a single stage trigger....want a good one but I also don't want to drop $500 on it either. Jewell? JT?

Thinking a 24 inch 1/8 twist to handle heavier bullets? Just guessing here

Are all AR15 bolt carriers pretty much the same?

Basically trying to get close to this pic found on AR15.com

Jimmy AR recommendations

Hey Jimmy,
Just a recommendation but I would go for a vented handgaurd. I know with my AR the barrel gets hot pretty quick. Hope that helps, Tony

Yes it does. With my normal rate of fire, it wouldn't be an issue but ya never know when it might come in handy.
