A 50cc just isn't for me but on our Buddy 125, 200 miles per day is comfortable, 250 acceptable. On the GTS or Sports City 250s 300 is comfortable on the 500cc Scarabeo or BV I've done as much as 600 but prefer to keep it to 400-450 max. I prefer to mix it up some short and some longer days. Your rear end may have a different view.

It's a way of saying, "slow down."

The quality of miles are far more important than the quantity of miles.
Unless you really need to get somewhere fast.

Longest trip I ever took on a scooter was about 1200 miles, and it took 3 days. Scooter was a Yamaha Vino 125. I was not in any hurry, and stopped often (the Vino 125 has a 70 mile range before it runs out of gas)

For something like a Silverwing, I would assume it would be the same as a full sized motorcycle. Vino averages about 50 mph.

You averaged 400 miles per day on a scooter that isn't freeway capable, you weren't in a hurry, you stopped often, & averaged 50MPH?

well if you average 35 mph moving then it is a nice ride, the other day on motorcycles we did average around 30 mph for the day, and we only cover 350 miles so it took close to 12 hours, we were a bunch of guys just going over to the mountains for the first time most of them and I was the lead rider, and never I did over the speed limit!

I think doing it solo I could do 250 miles with the scooter and just have a nice day on it.
Summer is not here yet, maybe in a month or so, not that I want 100F but the long days will be good, 5:30 am sunrise and 8ish sunset
