I dunno. The vibe I get from the marketing is the flannel shirt bikers are baristas and retail clerks with Liberal Arts degrees that want to look blue collar.

Bonus points will be awarded for passing your picture through some instagram-type of a filter before posting... which you failed to do. Actually I have a sneaking suspicion you might not be a proper hipster at all :)

I have a black leather biker jacket that I bought in '91 'cause I wanted to look like Joey Ramone. I see them on the youngsters these days.

Acceptable?

You know what would look really cool with that leather jacket? A red flannel shirt.

No dice. I used to have a lot, but I'm gentrified now. The closest I have now is a tartan printed Polo brand shirt.

Pop the collar and snap a pic and you're in.

If you don't have a real red flannel shirt, then you get Jr. member status.

They say you can't just hop on a Harley, well for some folks you can't just put on a red flannel shirt. You have to work up to that level of coolness.

Another example to show you how it's done. This is how I look when getting down to some serious riding.

Thanks for accepting blue flannel. I was worried.

Now looking for some ray bans to go with my 3/4 lid.
