Clutch lever question - red sleeve split?

Just noticed that the red plastic sleeve on the adjusting screw on my clutch lever is split in half, lengthwise. I'm talking about the red plastic tube that runs between the adjusting wheel (on the left, as you're sitting on the bike) and the rubber boot (on the right). I'm assuming it's coming apart, but before I pester KTM or Magura for a new one, can someone take a peek at theirs, and confirm this isn't how it normally looks? Thanks!

You need to replace it.
Cheers.

Cannot see the pic, but that sounds ok. The little red bit is just like a clip that is there to hold the rubber boot to the lever. It is "split" on both sides, but if you look closely the split is not complete and the halves are joined together.

In case you cannot replace it.

A small tie wrap could hold it in place for xxxxmiles.
Cheers.
