I'll relieve everyone of any misnomers or things they've heard in the past about the tubliss. They are very easy to install (easier than changing a tire/tube if you know how to do that) and once installed they making changing tires that much easier. Yes, you are saving about 6-7lbs per tire due to not having the tube, rim lock, etc. from the dynamic weight of all that spinning together. A little bit of air does leak out from the edges (possibly due to debris, but prob not), most likely due to the seal that the tubliss system makes with your rim (however straight and undented that may be)....but it never goes to the point that you won't be able to ride it. You need to keep the tubliss system between 100-110 psi and after about a week of sitting, mine MAY leak down to 80-90 psi, but it's just like checking the psi in your tires every week before riding, just go to Lowes/Home Depot and buy a HP hand pump for $12.99 and pump away. And the best thing about it, as everyone says...you can virtually be flat on the tire and still ride as long as you want with the tubliss system never coming off the bead. Everyone who has them, will run them with green slime if a flat does happen to occur, the only way you could have fatal flat tire is if you get a nail that punctures completely through the tire and tubliss system or have the carcass of your tire torn from the side, where the green slime wouldn't work. Overall, the TUBLISS system kicks ass!

Good deal; hopefully it won't be pouring. Checking for the helos sounds like a good plan to me. Anyone else want to join us? Post up.....

First Wet Ride of the Summer

Orange Crushed, Bartohob and I went for a great ride at Brox this morning.

It was wet but we still had fun. Went by the usual spots. Well the OTHER helo is gone now. The guys who move broken helos have been busy.

The little tank was still there

See you gents next time!
