I've lifted mine, it was surprisingly easy because the CoG is so low. But have yet to try it on a slope with a full set of luggage.

When loaded heavily, I had to pop off the top box. Without that it was no problem.

Finally got around to installing my Piaa 1100 leds. They are very compact and fit perfectly into the small space between the HB engine guards and the bodywork. Added the Skene dimmer and initially had it set on 50 percent brightness for low beam (going 100 percent when I hit the high beam) but they were still far too bright at night so I set them for 20 percent. Not much light output at 20 percent but they still make the bike a bit more conspicuous at night (if the other six lights don't do the trick ). Nice and bright at night when I hit the high beams, providing both good distance and fill.

Looks nice. The poster on the window behind. Oh even the lights look cool.

What lights are those, mounted beneath the headlight?

Frozen pipe coffee is the best.

This time of the year the weather down this way can suddenly turn from nice to frozen, unlike those gloating people up in QLD. I was wondering if you would get caught.and you did

Hard to forget really.

Those are Piaa LP530 leds, bought them on Amazon for under $200 but they are also sold by Yamaha as an official accessory.

Unlike most led driving lights, the leds in these are aimed backward toward a reflector puts out a very nicely aimed beam so they can be run at full power with the low beams without bothering oncoming traffic. Really nice lighting, can't see the stock low beam at all when they're on and people are always checking them out as I ride by so they definitely make the bike more conspicuous.

Added the 1100 leds to supplement the high beams. Using a Skene dimmer set at 20 percent on low beams, going to 100 percent when the high beams are used.

After a rare bath. (She deserved it though, after raising the ante yet again over the weekend)

Hit the road Friday with brand new Ohlins front and rear. Then stopping off at AF1 for a drive-in Gen2 flash. (Ed is amazing. AF1 is amazing.)

I dubbed this bike the XT1200ZR on the other forum.

Like to see the press do a shootout with the usual suspects on a Tenere with proper suspension and fueling. It's quite a leap forward.

I know I'm bragging, but this thing just RIPS. And extremely composed when pushing it.
