I have been riding the Sandwash Basin OHV area for 40+ years, I am still finding new trails. This area is not mapped, and is open riding, at least for now the BLM is doing an inventory. Found 6 miles of SWEET single track this weekend. Nice fast track thru the sage was SWEET!

Crossed paths with some local West Magnolians this evening. Very calm folk, they were. Guess my little 250 ain't nothing compared to the machinery they've been hassling with as of late.

Think it's got a few too many cylinders?

Cool, those two were at my house the other day. I stuck my head out the door and grabbed this shot from 4 feet away. They seemed to enjoy eating the aspen blossoms.

Must have about a 10 mile range but by then you'd probably be well done anyway :lol3

No, just too small a fuel tank.

It smoked so bad at the start as it had never been started before. They were just hoping it was going to run.

An old radial will smoke pretty much every time you start it. The bottom cylinders fill with oil.

Example (I've flown the aircraft in this video):

Is that picture at the New Smyrna facility? And did you fly it there? I would love to fly one those old trainers, but especially a P-51. I saw a mil channel program on the P-51 and they interviewed one of the aces who flew his the first time without realizing that the fuselage tank should not be full for flight stability.:eek1
