It is mine now!

Now that it is mine.. a big dave A arm and triple is going it.
The rear wheel car tire will be mounted and the elec tilt will be installed.

Now looking for racks and deciding of a 15 front or keep the gs front wheel.

Congrats! Looks like a good one! Everybody knows that the 1150GS is the best one to hack! Not that I'm biased.

perfect ride

I'm hoping to sell the 2K in a couple of years and get a R12GSA with a hack. This is my first one.. and it good to learn on.

You will see me in Alaska in a few years.

15" Front

Being one of Strokers customers his wheels work from my needs and I've accumulated lots of tires and opinions if you try one, one does loose some ground clearance. Here's an image of the 145/80 front and 165/80 rear Nankangs that I'm getting to like better all the time they are round, don't take much weight to balance and are a copy of a Bridgestone all season.

rig

the rig will be home next week. We are installing your pieces and rear pusher wheel.

I'm looking to change the exhaust a little and reading up on how not to FLY a wheel.

I have a 45 pound plate I am putting under the seat. and will take off into the neighborhood slowly. Finding a big parking lot near me would be the best bet. Since school is out .. I may go over there and take a ride.

It'll be easier than you think , I like an automotive battery in car(ballast and power) and 4awg welding cable Optima makes a 6v that's long and thin and a pair of them don't take up allot of room. You'll be surprised how much power hauling a rig around makes the 80hp 1150gs seem like 60.DB

can you take some pics of how you mounted your battery and route the cables?

Batteries etc

Here's the little Optima 6v that one could use a pair to save trunk space

Mine is out on the sidecar frame probably not an option for you at this point.

Ebay has welding cable pretty reasonable prices, I was hoping Josiah could come up with a restraint or one can use a battery box in the sidecar trunk on the right side.I myself would use a boat battery box and a sealed battery, but it's hard to give up trunk space without a rack.DB
