We're going to have a Memorial day weekend camp out/ get together with some sidecarest in Talkeetna Alaska your more then welcome.

Right after that I'm plannng a trip to Prince of Wales Island 2500 mile of mixed road and you can jump right on the ferry to get back to Seattle

A ride to Valdez

Rode my URAL Rig to Valdez, AK today along the Glenn and Richardson Highways....gorgeous mountain views were the offerings of the day....

Valencia is starting to show a well earned "road patina"! Thanks for the blog link, it is great to keep up on your trials and travels.
I think the (day 38) blog reply in regards to the coil may be something to really consider.

yep, leaning towards the coil myself.

parts will be here this Saturday by 3PM per USPS anyways....I'll replace the coil first, leaving the other parts in place and see if that was the issue.

fellow ADV rider just showed up in Valdez tonight....from WA on a KLR 650, he reported Thompson Pass as wet but passable. So if I can get the rig running.....I might actually make McCarthy.

parts for the powerarc ignition have arrived, have installed the coil only for now.....one part at a time, till I figure out which one doesn't like wet weather.

the coil being outside, is the primary suspect.
