[QUOTE=dieselcruiserhead;21414577]finally got bike back together and did about 380 miles this weekend from Fruita to Moab and back w 2WheelLust and my neighbor Bill. Great trip, Kokapelli was suprisingly dull at times but there was some decent single track and technical riding here and there. I have a tubliss inner tube fail, and some mechanical issues with the bolt that keeps a chain guide in place continually rattling loose on Bill's 04 450. Later in the trip he took a bad wreck and broke his tib/fib so we had to get the truck and pull the rip chord. But overall decent trip and a lot of fun especially in just 2 days...

mechanical #1 and my ass crack. At this spot bill's rear wheel locked up due to chain guide backing out and into his front sprocket. Skid about 30-45 feet managed to stay on bike and did well..

tubliss failure..

some of the funner more techincal stuff...

2WheelLust in action. Maiden voyage on his 525 with a hotcam I believe..

Hope his leg heals quickly (if he's younger like you)

Crack kills......

What's behind a Tubliss failure.......

Sounds like a great ride.

Wicked AF Canyon

I just got back from a short ride to american fork canyon with a buddy. I had my 990 Adv and he took my 620 Rxc. Looks like the gate is open at tibble fork, but not for silver lake. no snow or mud where we went, but that wasn't very far in.

I've been lucky. My inner bladder doesn't seem to fail in the middle of nowhere.
Usually in bed late at night or while laughing at the posted shit here. Opps,
I think I may have just had an episode.

Ignore UDOT Website and the Signs.

guardsman pass is now open so while my ride to work is now 20 min longer there is 100% less Hwy 40, Cops and Trucks.

That's exactly right, inner bladder failed. Been taking to tubliss about it, they've been awesome and there might be a recall out.

What did you do to fix it? Just take the whole thing out and put in a tube?

I'd be intrested to hear if they come out with a recall. I have front and rear on the 2 stroke. I just put em on this year. They have been great. Its so awsome to to ride with low pressure's on the single tracks.

When you say "inner bladder" do you mean the tube, or the red hard rubber deal?

Tube, and the recall is in tact from some older models from a couple years ago. I'm not sure if I have have new or older setup, it came with a wheel / front tire from a setup I bought. I can't remember who let me know about the recall but it's the only reason I reached out to them just to see if it met the recall. Current models are fine and Bill is also on them and loves them. Crucial is using some level of sealant of course. We use Stan's which is a MTB product...

Thanks for the heads up. Just to confirm your report I did a quick 80 mile loop from PC, up to the radio tower north of Heber, then out to the Cascade Springs area and back. Pretty sure I passed you as you were riding home - I was on the XR650R.

So glad the trails are drying out!
