I would send a picture to Myler's to get a quote since you are in the US, seems like they do very good work and will be able to fix this at a fair price.

If you are going with a replacement, I would only buy a set that you can fit BPD guards on. They should be high on everybodies list so the above doesn't happen, they are in a different league compared to all the other guards!

Send it for repair. Will probably cost you about $80 for the repair and at the worst case you will have it for a spare if you decide to get an aftermarket one as well. Mylers has repaired 2 radiators for me...one on my old DRZ when I hit a tree and pretzeled a rad into a shape far worse than yours...and once on the 690 when I hit a tree and damaged it quite badly.

Myler's?
Yup. Mylers. Definately. That looks no worse that what mine was last year. Mine came back from Mylers better n' new. I opted for their optional service to "strengthen" the radiator too.

Yes. That's what mine now sports. Rubs on the end of the fender a little, but they're pretty solid.

BPD guards

Another "definite yes" for BPD guards. Just rode Baja with Nate and Bud, couldn't find a better bunch to spend your money with.

As far as the fender rubbing, just shim the rear of the fender between it and the lower triple clamp, about 3/16" did it for mine.

Haha! That looks exactly like something Husky would design.

Well I think by now we know who won. No more Berg.
Husky and Berg "Reunited" back into Husky or so they say. Better hang onto your 70 degree bikes now!

I was kind of hoping they would all merge with Highland... that is before Malmberg, Bales and Riddoch were killed in the plane crash. (I still wrestle with "conspiracy theories"...).

Often you see niche companies buy out patents on discontinued products and sometimes even improve them. Naza here in Malaysia often takes discontinued auto engines and even 1 motorcycle engine (the old Suzuki SV650) and improve them. CCM is adding oil capacity and some other changes to BMW/Husky's 450.

I'd love to see Highland make a die-cast version of the 70 degree engine and encorporate there amazing fueling system.
I'm a moron when it comes to legal/patent issues... what say you all? Would something like that be possible/plausible? Why wouldn't Husaberg want somebody using their 70 degree design and to continue developing it?

Since they attach to the front of the rads I can't see why not, but I haven't tried it personally.

You can ping Lost Rider, I believe he is running that exact setup.
