Holan Nomada Pro Aluminum Pannier and Top Case Systems

ADV Motorrad reintroduced Holan products to the North America market in late 2012 and have been pleased to outfit many ADVrider inmates bikes with these adventure ready pannier systems. Holan products are known for their heavy duty construction, high quality welds, and narrow profiles that minimize system width while maximizing capacity and protection. Not only are they a much more robust solution than typical OEM (and many aftermarket) offerings, they also compete very favorably on price.

Holan pannier systems offer many advantages:
  • 2mm aluminum alloy fully welded pannier construction (versus the more common 1.5mm riveted designs)
  • Heavy duty racks (18mm tubing with 2mm wall thickness) that double as a rear crashbar if the bike goes down, with stainless steel available as an option
  • A mounting kit that includes stainless reinforcement braces to prevent case deformation or tear-through if the pannier takes a hit
  • Multiple size offerings to best suit your needs - 31L, 38L, and 45L
  • Exhaust cutout to allow the panniers to fit exceptionally close to the bike, minimizing overall system width
  • Multiple finishes available, including natural aluminum alloy (non-oxidizing), black powdercoat, gray powdercoat, and custom color options
  • Replaceable individual parts, including pannier lids, gaskets, locking latches, case corners, etc.
  • Numerous accessories to meet your requirements, such as 2L and 3L fuel/jerry cans, water bottle holders, case carry handles, pannier inner bags, and luggage straps
Although we are able to order the standard asymmetrical pannier systems, we've found that the Nomada Pro systems with exhaust cut (similar to the competition's "Special" line) is far and away the best combination of capacity, minimal system width, and balanced fit on the bike. We offer applications for almost every adventure touring bike out there, including the Tiger 800 and XC, F650GS / F700GS / F800GS, DL650 V-Strom, F650 GS/Dakar, R1150GS and Adventure, R1200GS and Adventure (including the new 2013 liquid-cooled model!), XT1200Z Super Tenere, LC8 950 / 990 Adventure (and soon the 1190 Adventure!), HP2 Enduro, and many more.

Pricing for Nomada Pro systems without the exhaust cut (such as on the LC8 950 / 990 Adventure) starts at $999.99 and includes the heavy duty Holan rack in black powdercoat, two Pro pannier mounting kits, two Nomada Pro panniers, and all necessary installation hardware. Systems with the exhaust cut-out start at $1,069.99 and include all items above. Options such as powdercoating of the panniers (inside and out), stainless steel racks, and lock kits (keyed alike) are available, in addition to a wide range of add-on accessories. If we don't happen to have your specific system/options in stock, we place orders twice a month with the factory and our typical delivery timeline to your door is between 30-45 days from the factory order date.

I'll be adding more pictures and info regularly, but if you have any questions, please feel free to email us at sales AT advmotorrad DOT com or call the shop at (585) 310-ADVM.

Hi Jason, I saw the adventure rack for the 2013 R1200GS LC was posted up on the site and it has the option for a top case mount. Is the top case mount available by itself yet? I really like the adventure rack but I do not need it currently, whereas I really need a topcase. Thanks.

Hi Bazgab - I'll follow up with Holan and see if they have a top case plate only available yet. With the previous generation bike, they offer a top case mount (no rack) for the GS Adventure, or a full Holan "Adventure" rack with top case plate for the standard GS. The latter is available currently for the new GS, but will check if they are releasing a top case only mount.

Hi Paul - you can find the panniers only (no racks or mounts, perfect for a "DIY" install) at http://www.advmotorrad.com/index.php...product_id=118.

Thanks!

Jason

Thanks Jason.... I looked a little deeper after posting and found more details, so, thanks, it was my oversight.

Ps: I found a great post by Ron West on You Tube, he speaks well of you and the product, just sayin.

Good job.

Hey Makis - I hear good things about those new Terra 650s! I haven't received any info about a system for the Husky, but will check with Holan next week and let you know if one is planned.

Thanks!

One of the more popular pannier applications we sell is for the R1200GS and Adventure. The panniers shown in the pictures below are 45L (the exhaust side is a bit less due to the cut-out) with an approximate overall system width of 38". A 38L system is approximately 35" in width, and the 31L system drops down to 32". The last two pictures of the rack show the "glass bead" finish on the stainless steel rack.

While we're on the topic of big GS's...how about some pics of the Holan system for "der neue wasserboxer" (a.k.a. the new liquid-cooled R1200GS)? We've got a thread devoted to all the parts for the new LC here, and we are already delivering systems for the new bike. The 45L systems have an overall system width of just under 39", which means they are within the stock factory handlebar width. The 38L system is just over 35", with the 31L coming in at a few tenths over 32" in total width!
