Question No Multi vehicle discount for motorcycle?

How come they do not offer you the Multi vehicle discount if you have a Car and a Motorcycle?

This is AAA insurance, i have my car insured there, and was told that they do NOT give you a Multi vehicle discount for a motorcycle?

Here is the definition of Vehicle

A device or structure for transporting persons or things; a conveyance

A thing used for transporting people or goods, esp. on land, such as a car, truck, or cart.

a piece of mechanized equipment

a means of carrying or transporting something
etc.

If you have 2 cars you get the multi vehicle discount, but if you have a car and a motorcycle, you do not? just seems unfair to me.

So what is your point don't insure your motorcycle with AAA.

I have AAA for all my 4 wheeled vehciles and Safeco through an independent agent for my multi motorcycle policy. Best rates on all vehicles...........AAA will not insure my residence because I have a pool with a diving board...........so I go with another insurance company.

Not my problem it is theirs.

PM me and I'll give you the motorcycle insurance agents name and number since we both live in the close area.

Unfair?

Nah . . . . . . not at all . . . not telling you, THAT would be unfair.

Find another carrier . . . . lot's of em want your business.

Seriously, given everything, I am amazed that the Triple A still exists.

Does the auto club even write bike policies anymore? I thought they went away from that.

My point is, i have my car and home insured with them, i also have my bike insured with them (full coverage), id like to get the multi vehicle discount, since i believe a Motorcycle should be considered a vehicle.

My first post is about...insurance?
Anyway, try Farmers. I use them for my car and my bikes and I definitely get get the multi-policy (vehicle) discount. Rates seem fair, too.
