Stebel Magnum

I'm looking for a stebel magnum as a plug n play in place of my stock horn on a Tiger 800.
Does anyone know of an online source either in Canada or the US?

Your Google-Fu very weak young grass-smoker.

Might wanna read this before you plug $40 for new horns, though...

That's what I have a Hi Fiamm, much louder than the stock BMW. If I can find room I'll also install a Lo. But note that installing a dual horn setup and it may need a relay for power from the battery with large(r) wiring. Had to do that on the old GS, BMW wiring did not bring in enough electrical juice.

Silence of the horn

If I can't hear my horn (R1200 GSA) rolling down the highway @ 70mph, can others hear it?

As a general note: Stebel horns are loud, but they have both a high rate of crib death and a strangely short life. Wolo buys some of their horns from the same manufacturer.

Nope. The Web Bike World horn page (here for the curious) has a lovely comparison of several horns, including FIAMM, Hella and a few Stebel models. The Hella Supertones were found to be the loudest, with the least variance from the claimed sound level. I wish they'd update that page with some newer models, though.

I also wish I could figure out how to mount a pair of Supertone horns on my V-Star. I've had to use the horn exactly once in anger, and it sounded like the Roadrunner with a cold.

Picked up the Fiamm high tone from Princess Auto, didn't mind paying the regular price for peace of mind. Easy plug & play fit. So much louder than my Tiger's stock.
