N ga

From CanyonRider: I have tracks from that area all the way to Springer Mtn in GA that I rode last year - awesome sections in north GA.
Cash, We rode N. Ga last NOV. It was a pre-ride for the MTF Smokey Mountain Rough Road Ride scheduled for this SEP. I love those N GA dirt roads. They seem not to see a road scraper as often as the dirt roads in NC and TN.

NO! The Kawasaki is ffffaaaasssstttt! The suspension is set up for big boys (like me), the Mayer seat is the best I have had on a dirt bike, and I think the Wolfman Bags will work nicely for my riding. Suzy has ridden the bike but it is a little tall for her.

Suzy would like to have the DR650 for her street bike. She rode it to one of the Farm Boy's BBQ thingys last year. She liked the power (compared to the TW200) and the custom seat..

Great report Andy,
Sorry bout the 650, but I love the DRZ/KLX.
Didn't hear it mentioned anywhere, but do you think the broke chain may have locked up the countershaft and broke the gear?

John65: but do you think the broke chain may have locked up the countershaft and broke the gear?
No. I believe that 3rd gear blew apart and ruined everything else. The chain was newish, clean, and well oiled.

10-4, and after posting my comment, I put my mind back in gear and diagnosed that if it were the chain folding up, it should have broke the gear that you were in, which I assume would be 5th.
