The frame,swing arm,rear sub frame,side panels,seat pan,skid plate,front fender mount,exhaust head pipe,shift lever,brake pedal and kicker were all fabricated by you guessed it.....yours truly.

Been a Welder/Machinist,Fabricator since 1975.

First dirt modified I built 1984.
This driver in another one of my cars later in '93 won the inaugural $25,000 to win Amarillo Modified Classic.

1,187 cars later in 2003 the last dirt mod I built.

I think I know my way around the shop fairly well.

so what you're saying is that since you didn't build it,it must be crap.
some very skilled people admire there peers, and some don't,has to do with jealousy and ego.

They've turned this into the ATTACK OUT OF JEALOUSY thread. Hide 'em behind a keyboard and they turn into 14 year olds.

Some idiot killed one of Erik Buell's finest to build that piece of crap.

I see nothing fabricated, most likely built from a J&P Cycle catalog.

sorry Kioti, i don't know how i got the wrong idea.

I didn't accuse you of not having skill, I just accused you of being retarded.

However, nice to know you fabricate stuff too.

Now that being said, you just witnessed a guy who fabricates stuff so well that you thought it was production. I retract my previous statement, because in a round about way, you just paid the guy a compliment....even if you didn't mean it.

You have not seen a soda machine in a long time if you think you can get one for $.50

You're both missing the real point...

Something about that bike looked familiar. I finally realized that I recognized the frame as being from Redneck Engineering in SC. Then I went back and looked, and that sure as hell looks like Jack, one of the frame builders down there. If it is him, then it would be a sure bet that he built that from the ground up, as he has many Redneck Engineering motorcycles. Hell, he's probably built more motorcycles that most of you have ever ridden.

Even if you aren't a good fabricator, you owe it to yourself to pick up a trashed bike off Craigslist and turn it into something roadworthy at least once in your life. It'll give you a whole different perspective on what it takes to build a chop. It is one thing to ride a motorcycle, but it is a whole different feeling to ride a motorcycle you built yourself. You'll never know that feeling until you do it.

The tread on the guys boots matches the color if the frame...that's what I call good design work.

Carry on...
