Well hell, that didn't go as planned. I have to hand it to James, he really stepped up when it mattered most. All in all it was a great series between two teams that played hard and showed a lot of respect for each other.

Beside the outcome, I really enjoyed that. Hell of a series.

Absolutely. I'm no James fan, but he earned this. He was fantastic.

Not a James fan, but the sad thing is he's only going to get better when his jumper improves. I know he has range now, but he'll become more consistent.

Edit: Just looked, they won game one. Go Spurs!

Looks like the Spurs took the Heat to the woodshed tonight. (I don't watch this stuff, just the occasional highlights ) Good going San Antonio.

You'll note that I didn't say that all white males dislike the NBA.

What I said was that the bashing of the NBA, and the thugs criticism, mostly comes from white males. There's an under-text of racism there.

I really thought San Antonio would lose Game 3. I was astonished to see how they came out. Their will blew away the Heat. Who will probably do the same to the Spurs in Game 4.

I remember hearing that the winner of Game 3 wins something like 80% of playoff series in the NBA. That's not how it worked for San Antonio last year. And I think that "rule" probably doesn't apply this year either. It's too tight.

It think the Spurs improved from last year, the Heat stood pat at best. Wade is the oldest 31 year old in the NBA and James is worn out from carrying the team while they rested Wade during the season.

Been a Spurs fan since the Ice man days. This year's team is DEEP. 9-10 quality player deep. I think this is where they beat the Heat this year. LeBoner is a heck of a player and can almost carry the Heat himself. But he looked tired at the end of game 3.

I love watching the Spurs. Especially when they are clicking. A thing of beauty. Also love their coach, too. No BS in that man. They are a humble, professional, respectful team that has been in the top tier of the NBA for a good while now.

Very even series, just like last year. Margin of error on either side is slim to none. Boy would I love to see them upset the Heat tonight too!!! Going back to the Alamo City with a 3-1 lead. Yah Baby!

GO SPURS GO!!

So much for my prediction that Miami would come out like a house on fire for Game 4. Holy cow. They're trailing by 20 with 1:35 to go in the first half. At home.

I love it. But what the hell?

Color me surprised. I thought it would be a close series. The talking heads on the radio acted like a Miami victory in the series was inevitable after they won by 2 in game 2. Then the series goes back to Miami and they get dominated in two straight games.
