Going down now.

Full throttle and after a while the Visions restriction gives up and the speedometer is even not enough. Still, have no chance to keep up whith that crazy cyklists going downhill to.

Shooting and....whoosh! Cyclist race inside me. Crazy

This would be a superbe ride report on any ride. You have a great story and fsabulous pictures. But then when we relaise this a 50cc scooter everything becomes so much more compelling. I love small bikes but I would not want to tour on anything less than 125/150. You have done a great job. Well done.

haha, cat. I live near the arctic circle, so visiting south of europe is a pain, to hot, so I prefer the higher ground there. I do winterriding with motorcycle, but still, sitting still on 50cc scoot long time makes you could. Therefore I use full motorcyclegear amd also, Iīve been chrash in lower speed.....and it sure hurts if there are no protections.

Thanks for your comment cat

Day seven: Livigno(Italy)-Switzerland-Lichenstein-Bregenz(Austria)

As usual, I Wake up early. Itīs raining, but after a while when lie in tent the rain sounds strange. I stick out my head and...itīs snowing, heavy wet snow.
Livigno is about 1800 metres up and where ever I go from here I have to drive uphill first. Just have to wait.
After few hours, while spending time on the net, snow stops. The snow is so heavy so half of the tent has broke down.

Wait one hour more after the snowing stoped and Iīm on the road again. Roads are now tarmac.

Going uphill, Little bit cold now.

Check out sometimes and look back where I came from.

At the top and Iīm happy the road is open.

I feel a Little bit humble when looking where Iīm going down. The snow and mountains makes it mightily...

The green is back.

Bordering Switzerland.

Few kilometres after the border and the climbing starts again.

As usual, from time to time check out where I came from.

Little bit snowy here to.

Ski resort Samedan is coming.

.......Livigno(Italy)-Switzerland-Lichenstein-Bregenz(Austria) will be continue...

At Samedan I realise itīs better to turn back and go for Julierpass.

Julierpass is coming and as usual when getting higher, the moped starts to slow down. It doesnīt matter now, I know itīs my last climb.

At the top and now itīs all going down.

Looks nice.

Wet and snowy small villages.

Little bit muddy water. Iīm not used of that, at home the water is clear...

Always struggle with the GPS and try to keep out of the traffic. Gives me nice small villages and roads.

Forward to Vaduz in Lichenstein.

Now in Vaduz, capital of Lichenstein.

Vaduz castle.

Strange bordering into Austria. I pass with full throttle on the right side of the yellow line. That was wrong so I stoped a while and checked in the mirror if someone is coming after me....no it did not.

Time for overnight. Ask in Feldkirch about nearest camping. As in Germany, nobody knows where they are, so I keep on north.

Iīm tired, so I make a call home and tell them to book in me in a cheap hotel. It ended up at Sonne lodging house in Bregenz.

Of course, third flor and no elevator. Now I note how much stuff you can bring with you on a moped.

Have to leve the moped on a public parking. I doesnīt feel well. Desk Clark tells me to not worry, there are no thefts there. I looked moped with a chain...

I notice also that all the other mopeds are not looked. Here somebody havenīt get that which way you leve the helmet. itīs raining.

Have to eat something, so I make a walk in the Town same time.

Like the statue outside a hotel. Have to touch the cover. Yes, it was in cement to.

Before bedtime, also a small walk after Bodensee.

Day 8: Bregenz(Austria) - Wurzburg(Germany)

As usual, wake up 4 am. No hurry today. Want to overnight in Harz and I canīt still manage to ride there today. Breakfast is 7,30 and I take a morningwalk in the area. Also check that my moped is still there. Yes it is, also the moped with usidedown helmet is still there, Little bit heavier this time :Norton
Away and follow the Bodensee a while.

Not far away, bordering Germany.

Zickzack here and there under and over the autobahn.

Looked a Little bit strange, same tunnels on autobahn and the small parallelroad beside.

Iīm to near the autobahn and I try to find smaller roads from the already small roads.

To much traffic and I ride instead on the bicycle paths.

More nice bicycle path.

on bicycle paths.

Stop and looking the chickens beside the street. Sure they had escaped.

I can see itīs not sunday today, lorrys are not allowed on autobahn on sundays.

Nice castles...

Villages is not equal nice the villages in east and west of Germany. This village looked like a residential area and the statue didnt fit in.

But, not all of theme. There are some beautiful villages to.

Seems to be that wine is the thing in this area.

Camping Wurzburg and for overnight.

Dry up in the sun, tent etc is wet from the Livignos wet snow.

Day 9: Wurzburg(Germany) - Gosslar(Germany)

Morning and not hurry today. Still, I canīt wait and....advantage moped again, the gate is no issue.

http://www.saarela.se/aktuellt/aktue...120609-9b2.jpg
Undet the autobahn. There are some kind of roadwork and I stopa while to lissen to the very loud noice from cars driving over something.

Escape. Luckely I didnīcome with my motorcycle. Iīm sure I had turn into the "racetrack" :Norton

Iīm on way to a little mountain area.

.....and it starts to rain a little bit.

Hanomag/Mercedes tryes a long time to pass me on the slopes. Lot of RPM and every time he tried to switch to second gear, he missed it....
Well, this mountain was about 1000 metres at the highest point. Now I know which point the Vision get out of Power....1000 metres.

Old bridge. It looked like it went right into the trees.

Nice little village.

A little gap sun between the Clouds. I stop on this miniparking and warm up a while.

A warm cup of coffe in the warming sun can never be wrong.

Coming to Harz and the typical warningsigns there.

Remembering, last time I was here I was with a slight powered motorcycle. At that time I promised me to come back with more power....at same time I check the speedometer on the Vision.

Ooooops, notice now why I never empty the can I have with me. I have forgott to fill up and the gas meter shows the gas is out long time ago. Luckely a gasstation was few kilometres away and I had no need to use the can.

Gosslar. I turn left to the camping and decide to visit the town in the morning instead. I have no hurry next day either.

Parked at Gosslar camping.

Eveningwalk and I noticed the gates are closed. I measure the side of the gate and see that the Vision perhaps manage through it next morning.

Day 10: Gosslar(Germany) - Burg(Germany)

Early morning and my measure was okat, I press out the moped between the old gate and wall. Leaves a rusty stripe on the luggage.

I ride into Gosslar.

North again and it starts to rain. Big trees is good.

A girl with good condidence. But, why parked on the other side of parking?

Few kilometres and one more?? Okay, now I get it at same time my face blushes

Flatboat on waterroad...

Back in the woods again.
There where a time when I was to near the aoutobahn. Suddenly I was on some kind of fivelined motorway, in the middle. Cars on both sides and fast they went. Blink on and the people raised from autobahn slowed down and let me out from it. Puh!

The old hanseatic Town Lubeck coming.

Lubeck

Turn and ride after the coast near Timmendorfer Strand. Looks nice!

I was fascinated of the Timmendorfer Strand when riding throught it, so I promised myself....here I will be back sometime in future and overnight, on motorcycle.

Coming to the isle where Burg and the ferry to Denmark at Puttgarden is.

The bridge to the isle

Itīs only 4 pm and I have ride 400 kms this day, so itīs a good daywork. I decide to overnight at Burg.
Luggage itīs a little bit wet from the morning, so I let theme dry in the sun.

Long eveningwalk after the beach. Always nice with the wind from the sea.

Yes, we are missing a lot of nice small roads and beautiful villages when we hit the alps.
On motorcycle I often use "shortest" way on GPS when going through Germany. I like the autobahn, but via that it gives some variation...

Well....last day on moped.

As usual, early on my way and found my ways out.

The ferry to Denmark not far away from my campingground. This time they take payment for a motorcycle. I also just missed the ferry and have to wait for the next one.

Meanwhile I studded the stickers. Found lot of Swedish motocycle clubs I have never heard about.

Leaving Germany.

Arrive Denmark

Hundred metres after the toll I turn right and over the viaduct for smaller roads. Others from the ferry goes after the motorway.

.....but I`m sure I get a nicer ride.

The old Storströms bridge

Surprised me, suddenly a fast train passing few meters from me

I keep on. Iīm doing a Little test for a future Project. From the ferry in south to the ferry to Sweden in north itīs 200 kms and little bit more. Gastank is full and I need to know if itīs okay to ride that in five hours without rest.

Nice saloon. Now it starts to rain. From here I just ride. The 210 kms ride to the ferry to Sweden takes med 5 hours.
I payed 3 euro for the ferry and in twenty minutes Iīm in Sweden.

In Helsingborg Traffic is waiting for me. When I turned in it looks like heīs smiling to me.
Few Words with Plattis, the Vision parked into the Traffic and then heading the 1500kms north and home.....
