The Adventure lit by moonlight, and light painting, long exposure, I believe about 8 seconds for this exposure. The aurora was very minor but did add some nice reflections to the water!

I did a 9k mile journey a couple of years ago on my Superduke, after a long day of pushing I made it safely to my sisters home in Maryland.

Thanks so much Dave! I love night riding and photo shoots, and you have some amazing pics, thanks for sharing! In your first shot I feel like I in the movie close encounters of the third kind! Cool shot!

There's room for improvement Toysoldier. Don't give up! The exposure is pretty good. Focusing is definitely harder at night. Once you get that figured out you may want to play around with the white balance (easier if you can shoot in RAW) to reduce the yellow color cast from the street lights. Have fun!

Nice!!!
Hopefully a very isolated road, because that looks like a long time exposure from the middle of the road!

Went to the Tourtech rally in Plain WA last weekend and we were surprised by my first ever sighting of the Aurora borealis.

This is a rare sighting in WA. I have lived here all of my 40 years and this is the first time I have ever seen it in person.

This is Alex with Konflict Suspension laying out to get some inspiration....
