Looks like an epic ride! I'm planning a trip from NC to NH and back in late July or early August on the GC. Do you plan on posting updates of your progress?

BTW, like your choice in rides. I too have a GC, Guzzi and used to have a Hodaka.

Great ride, I know you will have a Blast. Look me up if you get down closer to Gawga.... GC loves to get out with her own kind and Western North Carolina has GREAT riding. and Ditto on Glacier NP and Going to the Sun road.... Defiantly a bucketlist ride

Shame you arent leaving earlier... Could have had a riding buddy some of the way. My buddy Burt is doing this on his '51 Vincent Black Shadow, left out of ATL Saturday.

I'm sure he would be willing to share his experience on the parts where the two routes cross. You can contact him through me or Facebook
/VincentAroundAmerica, Or.... I think he'll be in your neck of the woods tomorrow or Thursday..... Give him a shout.

Yes it does. There were a VERY few "Western" version dashes, but those are a rare bird indeed. It will say Km right on it under the Odo in white. (dont be confused, they all say Km/h and Mph under the trip meter) If it is blank under the odo, buy the bike for the guages, you'll probably double your money.

And nearly everything is available for the GC in one form or another except body panels.

It appears he's veering a bit north of me. I'd like to have a chat with him and see the Vincent but I'm too busy right now to take even a short ride. What an awesome trip to make on a Vincent!

contacts along Jehu's route

I'm near Kingston NY at the base of the Catskill mountains, near the reservoirs and in the middle of the great Hudson Valley!

If you are inclined to spend any time in NY state you might want to detour across the Adirondack mountains (park land)... for example there is a ferry across from Vermont... and down thru the Catskill mountains (another park) ... I think there might be another Cagiva rider in these parts also.

Message me ahead of time with your ETA and contact info...etc, and we can try to connect (if I'm around).

Have a good ride!

If you happen to pass thru VT to catch that ferry, I have a Cagiva GC that I can introduce to your steed. You're also welcome to use my garage for any maintenance needs, and we have plenty of room if you want to spend the night......Best of luck on your journey!

Look what have I found...
'99 model, good condition, 32500kms, $2,500.

The question is: to buy or not to buy?

Is it local?.....

If it really is in good condition, I'd jump on it if I were you....

Only $2500 for a Gran Canyon in good condition --- that is a great price for a great ride!

I have to know more about this machine....since I got my KTM 990 SM-T, I have been wavering about whether to sell my Gran Canyon or what to do with it, and I REALLY like the initial concept/idea of this!!!

Hey guys, does any of you recognise the racks on this bike? The owner couldn't tell...
