Hi mates, I have recently bought on ebay a full set of Givi side panniers with frames without mounting hardware.
I can't figure out how to mount the frames, can someone with those show me a picture? I suspect they are slightly bent :baldy

    thanks! :clap:clap:clap

Don"t over tighten the balancer chain or you will f..k it up ,there are two different methods for adjusting it ,do a bit of reading before adjusting it ,you may want to check out another DR site we use http://www.drbig.info/forum/

Rob, did you get your 800 crank new or secondhand? I have a secondhand one and have noticed that it is welded. the big end seems to be ok but it would be nice to freshen it up while I can.

Simon I got mine checked by Resi/ Lars, as I bought it off him :D. do you know how many K,s were on the bike from which it came. only early 750,s were not welded I read from Big Bob info himself.
Maybe check the side play and if it is in tollerence the big end is probably good. they have a massive bearing in there.

Is the special head gasket made of single copper sheet?

Aapo, according to the part number the gasket is identical to the original one. I guess Suzuki made them only in one size to fit original bore and oversize.
