No black available? My KLX already has more than enough color.

Hi All, Long time lurker, first time poster

I'm keen on the hoses, i've emailed Steven about them and just to confirm what colours he will make them in.

Yeah... he doesn't do black hoses. I guess it's already available from the factory. I really liked the silicone hoses on my ZX10. Look forward to getting a set for the KLX650, don't care if they only come in hot pink. I like the contrast they add to the engine.

Hi Steve,
I am based in Myrtle Beach, SC and could bring in my '94 KLX 650R if that would help.
Unfortunately I am in Djibouti North Africa and will only be home at the beginning of September.
If you have no other bike in by then, please feel free to send me a PM and let me know.

Rod.

Your timing might be perfect. He said the process takes a couple months.

I have a complete rear wheel. A front hub with a 320mm rotor and a set of forks tuned at Penske's Custom Axis shop with new springs for a 200lbs rider. Also has the caliper adapter for the 320mm rotor.

I could be interested in the forks (does that include triples as well?)
Also in New Zealand :-) Thinking about doing a KLR650 fork swap.

I'd be interested in this as well (including shuim stack data), or maybe even buying the forks. (I'm in NC)

I don't have any of that. I told them the bike was for desert racing for a 200lbs rider weight. They did the work and sent the forks back. I ordered a rear shock at the same time.

I was running sub tanks with the forks as well so I added oil accordingly. That required drilling and tapping the vent hole for the fitting (off the forks). No doubt the forks are due for a service. Need to be flushed at a minimum. I have a second set of OEM R model forks so I can swap the caps if needed.

I decided to bump up to a set of 48mm WP forks and KTM front hub so the OEM forks were still in service when I did the swap. Forks are still in good shape. Straight as far as I can tell.
