Garmin GPS spare parts

Hi guys.. well back from Birdsville and my Garmin GPS MAP 60 lots its little knob on the road somewhere between Thargomindah and Quilpie.

It's the little knob on the back that clips into the mount.

Any ideas where to source a new one?

Ring the Garmin support line, they MAY give you one.

If not then there is a belt clip that includes a screw in knob that you can purchase

You can buy a guitar or ukulele strap holder which
screws into the instrument for AUD $2 in a music
shop or possibly a knobby thing from a ship's chandler
that is used to retain a piece of elastic used for example
to keep a boat ladder out of the way when moving.

Zumo 660

I have a dead Zumo 660 mount if anyone needs some bits and pieces for a repair job. Two pins got bent in shipping and it wasn't until day one of our South America trip that we discovered the unit was only on battery power.

Turns out the small circuit board inside the Zumo mount fried itself.

It's all reasonably intact with the wiring loom if anyone's interested and all free of course.
