A couple of months ago, my honey bought herself a new Audi Q7 diesel
with which to schlep kids and dogs and generally, feel safe and comfortable.

in my mind, this opened the door for my getting something with a little more sporting intent, to place on my side of the driveway.

I test drove a Cayman S and an Audi TTS and found both be to hugely exhilarating with the Cayman coming out as the sharpest knife that I've ever wielded.

I was about to pull the trigger on one when it occurred to me that i have but a few years left in which my kids will respond to " Hey... who want's to take a drive with dad?", in the affirmative.

The Cayman S can wait until the nest has fewer feathers.

I took delivery of this yesterday.

My honey seems to enjoy it almost as much as I do.

That'll be a nice way to drive to Peggy's Cove.

But I suppose the Haligonians don't go there.

Rinty... the Peggy's Cove Loop is my default riding road. From my front door in Halifax, it is about 90 minutes of fabulous twisties.

I've done the route twice since picking up the car on Saturday afternoon.

You ever out here, give me a shout and I'll get you on a scooter... Unless of course , you ride out.

I drove the loop in a Buick Century Regal. You're lucky to have all those twisty roads close by.

And thanks for the offer!

Nice Panamera! Can you tell much of a VW family feel from Q7 to the PCar?

John... largely in the design aesthetic. It's all very clean and spare and Deter Rams ( Braun , designer ) like.

I thought the Q Ship had incredibly comfortable seats until I spent I time in the Pannie. Best seats I've experienced.
