I don't have any basses I'd want to drag around on a motorcycle trip, in a gig bag and in the weather all day for 11 days (although it is oddly tempting).

Emus,,whole and onna spit over an open bed of coals,,will swing by the coastal forests on my way there and see if I can nab one!,they are up there in the trees!

,Hey!,,other peeple saw it too! it could happen again!
Never plucked a whole emu,,just a few of their double feathers,(spray 'em with a water hose, and they come right up to you, and you can grab a few double feathers offem,) basically they are giant chickens with a really long neck,,(good for soup stock),problly easier to skin one, less fuss.

Wonder if I could throw a lasso from the KLR, and if I could, where's the saddlehorn to dally a frikken emu from?,do I drag him,,or let him drag me?,,this could be a challenging ride!
If I hadda rope,,I'd a towed ya!
