First post! I have really been enjoying this thread. There are so many great ideas in here and it is so nice to see so many people that are afflicted by the same sickness as me.

I took a trip this summer from New Orleans to Victoria BC with a quick stop in Moab to ride the White Rim Trail and then on to Yellowstone (video in signature). Here is the set up I used for the trip. I tried to pair down gear as much as I could but I still took too much (mainly way more tools than I needed). Next trip I am going to lose the top case.

Here it is all set up

Until my tent poles broke and then I found this little guy which will be my new tent for biking as it packs down to about a third the size of the other one.

Dont let the perspective fool you on that picture though. It is only slightly larger than a bivvy.

Thank you

It has proven to be not entirely horrible to wrangle around off the beaten path so far, even with the stock street tires on. She's a little porky, a little lacking in suspension travel maybe, but then again so am I, so no complaints from me, lol.

I have nothing but good to say about this bike. After 21 other motorcycles and over 40 years of riding, I am absolutely loving this machine. Getting over 72 mpg while doing so, is just too freaking cool!

in a lot of parts of the northern hemisphere camping season is becoming short and I hope that there will be many other posts here of pictures of your bike with all of his gear for camping loaded with maybe description on how you fit it all on the bike in the first place. Let us know about how you balanced it if it changes the way the bike rides at all. Tell us something else you think you wish you had but don't or something you've added to your camping gear you wish you hadn't.

As always thank you in advance

Loaded up for a multi-day trip. Camping stuff in topcase (tent, sleeping bag and pad, pillow, and misc. small stuff), tools/cook supplies in right pannier, and clothes in left pannier. Back seat carried my Kermit chair and a pair of shoes.

And here's everything all set up.

It's the Coleman Bedrock 2. Costs about 50. Just enough room for 1 person including your riding gear. Weight is about 2.5 kg.
