+1

Lots of folks would likely enjoy reading your story, folks that wouldnt normally read this thread
Just picked up this line from their blog from when they were outside of Woss: "So this is it the final day and we followed the track for an hour or so only to find that the route disappeared when we got to a Provincial Campground. We rode around for about 10 minutes trying to locate it and then looked for an alternative."

I'm stumped on this, so I guess I'll have to test ride the track north of Woss to see where there is error...

Well sitting here on the edge of a cliff overlooking the sea and Blanc Sablon. A nice 3 day ride from Port Cartier to here. Catch the ferry in the morning to Newfoundland.

This is my campsite for tonight.

WOW!! What a wonderful ride you are having! I am so glad, through the miracle of technology, to be able to follow along. Are you reaching any places where you wish you had a smaller bike?

Not really a lot of this would be doable two up with determination. There are quite a few trails that would be lots of fun to go tall bike riding on though. Mainly the stuff coming in and out of Ottawa.

I just received an email from Jack one of the WI riders. He and Erich are home safely and will post a ride report w/pics once they've settled back in.

So here is some interesting trivia. I was speaking to a truck driver on the ferry this morning. He was telling me that 20 years ago Goose Bay to Labrador City was a 4 day drive in a truck. Cars had to make way for on coming trucks and trucks often had to stop after going past a car to push them back on the 'road'.

Just by way of contrast today it takes 5 or so hours.

More Kiwi's

Dave and Charles, friends of our previous Kiwi's, left Vancouver yesterday heading east onthe TCAT. Their destination is Banff, where they will head south on the Continental Divide route.

Looks like they are in Lillooet tonight after doing the optional tech loop

Safe travels

The Making of a Cross Canada Route

Best thing about the TCAT GPS POIs = RAs CTs & THs!

You just can't cross Canada without TH.

In Thunder Bay now been hitting small sections of TCAT, but slabbing most of the way to get out West faster. Will hit more on the way back!
