thanks, it's still a work in progress, but it just keeps gettng better.

Did not have time to finalize the Skidplate build over the weekend and with us planning to to leave for CO on Sat. time is running out, so not sure if this will happen or not.

The max height with OEM stock seat height wih bik unloaded is going to be about 36-37" with 21/18" wheel combo and about 10" suspension travel.

This can be shortened of course with tire changes and suspension mods to meet the riders needs. There is only one way to get more suspension travel and ground clearance. Go up.

I'm 6'4" and can sit on it flat footed and knees slightly bent. It has about 3" of sag set up on it right now and it feels like a nice Dual Sport bike setup for road and trails.

500x hp?
same engine as the new/current cb500 (MSRP on the X $6300)
47hp 32 ft lbs

nc700x (MSRP $7300)
51hp 47 ft lbs (maxi scoot engine )

DL650 (can be had all over the internet w/some miles for $3k)
63hp 47ft lbs (before being uncorked)

I shoulda snagged my dads before he sold it...

cool project!

EDIT
Craig there is TONS of engine upgrades you could do....if so inclined, due to similar engine as the SV650 & the "lightweight" class of road racing & there knowledge. 80-100hp DL700 anyone??? :)

Not yet, Won't even start on that until I get back from colorado around Sept 25th. We'll be out there testing it all around the state. We'll have some great pics upon our return.

There will be many build options to help meet the demand. And it can be upgraded in stages.

Oct/ Nov I plan to do one more build as a "KIT" with all parts on hand to figure out time required and do install pics and video documentury to be included in the kits.

Just 2 more picts until I return from Colorado photographing this bike.

All 10" of suspension flexing it's muscles. No bad noises, no deflections, no bottoming out, just a smooth landing.

Head Up on the gas ready for the jump
Headlight caught me right in the lens but I think it made for a sweet shot anyway.

I also sat on it at the rally. I have a 36 inch inseam and thought it fit perfect. Awesome concept and execution.
