new vintage ride

Was at White Rose in PA for a swap meet a few weeks ago. Picked up a Honda TL125s, in good shape. Question: stock gearing is 15-60, should I go down to 12-60?
Thanks
Paul

Heads up...There won't be a RY clinic in Oct if we don't get 15 riders signed up and pre-paid by the middle of Sept. There's insurance to get, Ryan to pay, and other logistical expenses to cover.

Congrats again on a great weekend!

Noooo! I was really looking forward to that. Are we close to getting 15 people signed up?

Don't know. Check with GrayEagleRider...he's handling sign up and fees. Hopefully it'll all come together in the next couple of weeks.

Trials Curious

Almost 50 old lady curious about Trials bikes. Anyone in San Antonio have a trials bike that I could try out to see if it is my cup of tea? Grew up on motorcycles but understand that Trials is totally different. Thanks.

There is a small group of riders just south of you. We're a mostly unorganized bunch of folks who enjoy fiddling with trials bikes. We mainly compete in the MAVT series (mid-atlantictrials.com).

There is a trails this weekend west of Fort Worth. Look up the club, new; not the North Texas Trials Association. Ask around, many will assist and let you ride various bikes. look for ray Roblin and Willard Kelly, trials masters there.

As a fellow Scorpa owner I may be biased, but I believe the Scorpa to be a fantastic first trials bike. Plenty of power with nice smooth delivery and very reliable. I think you should be quite tickled...
