update: Checked the ignition coil and it's bad. new one on it's way so i'm hoping that fixes things. Seems it will!

Also opened up the clutch and freed up the plates and cleaned them with brake fluid, they looked flawless, just a little stuck together. waiting on a new gasket since the old one ripped when i opened it up, which isn't surprising.

Step by step, almost got this puppy runnin'

SHE'S ALIVE!

Got her running a few days ago. Honestly not really sure what I did. I replaced the ignition coil, but had actually found out the old one was fine. I replaced it anyways. I took the condenser off, then put it back on. I forced a spark a couple times with jumper cables scraping them on the ignition points. Then all of the sudden i had spark. I think she just needed to be woken up!

Also I had opened up the clutch and un-stuck the plates and cleaned them with brake fluid, then put new oil in. Shifts like new!!!

I've put 200 miles on it around NYC and Brooklyn over the past 4 days. Oh my god it's fun. New tires on the way since the current ones are from 1970 (whoa! that's not safe...)

Thanks so much everyone for the help.
