Can you please provide the details of which rims, tires, etc that you purchased? I'd love to do the same.

Do you find it handles differently?
Thanks! They are Warp 9 wheels, the tires are Michelin Pilot Powers. The CRF handles very, very well as a supermoto. If you look close in the first photo you can see the front wheel of my Husaberg FS570 and I believe the Honda handles better, probably because of a lower center of gravity. Dragging the pegs will be no problem. I am very happy with it. It is very different animal than stock.

Dude, I am about a week behind in the forum, but I got mine for 4300 otd. Keep shopping - many apologies if my very late post is redundant. I am in CO, flood shit is awful and I am a casualty, basement is toast - but my bikes are high and dry!

Warranty will cover this and make sure they document it to Honda as well. I had this issue and just went with a DRC Integrated brake setup because I wanted to pull the spark arrestor anyway.

Oil leak

I noticed from the beginning that it was leaking oil / coolant (blue-green color), thinking that it will soon disappear. At the first service 1000 km (620 miles), so I said it to the service which then ordered the new gaskets. A few weeks later gaskets was replaced with about 2000 km (1240 miles) on the meter.

After a few days I saw that it started leaking again, now the color was brownish. I contacted Honda again and they in turn would contact Honda Sweden for advice. After several weeks the Honda shop still had no reply, so now they have ordered new gaskets again to come on Friday. Hopefully they will be changed next week. I have now run 3500 km (2175 miles).

To be continued...

I'd love a breakdown on the expense the rims and tires set you back. PM me.
Was it a custom order or something that you just ordered online?
Did you have to modify the bike at all, like chain or suspension?
What tire size did you settle on?
Did Warp9 install the tires when they shipped you the rims?

I appreciate your feedback as I've been debating about doing the exact same mod for months now.
Thanks,

You are lucky bro as your bike will be fixed under warranty... Here in my place it is very hard to ask for warranty claim...I will just fix it my self though, so i'm waiting on your bike update on what are the parts to be replaced... thanks

It looks to me like the water pump seal is leaking at the shaft and the weep hole is letting put the coolant. I had this happen on my DRZ. The fix is to replace the shaft/impeller and seals around the shaft. My DRZ was about 3-4 years old when it happened to me. If the bike sits it can happen. The seal gets brittle and oil/coolant chemicals break it down I guess.

It could leak coolant into your oil and vice versa.

Oil leak

Talked to Honda today, they said that it will take at least two weeks until the new gaskets will arrive.
