Where to ride trials in Idaho Falls

Howdy,

Purchased a trials bike last spring, and getting better. I have been riding it a lot, but have not really run into anyone who else rides, at least has a bike in the back of their truck. I have come across a few people who say they have a bike or know someone with one. But still not much luck finding a person to ride with.

Anyone know??

I have done a few rides in Heice, Palisades, and anywhere I found my wr450f unsuitable. Is there a local hang out that I just am not familiar with?

Trials

Live in St Anthony and have 2 trialers.Have ridden in events in Montana,Wyoming and Utah this year.A few more to go this year yet.I go to the travertine pit by Fall creek. That is a fun place to ride.I have heard there is good riding out by Howe but have not ridden the trialer out there.Drop me a note. Mark

hmm,

Fall creek, as in swan valley? Is that the mine above trail 142?

Definitely interested finding someone to show me the ropes. I can balance the bike pretty well now with handle bars turned, not so much otherwise. I have climbed stuff that I probably shouldn't have, but splatter and hopping still not in my toolbox.

Yourself?

Not ID falls but there is a number if us in Boise. If you ever feel in the need to ride out this way... Good luck.

It is a possibility I could get out that way, son in college there this year.

The rocks out there look pretty good, nice and smooth. Everything around here is recent volcanic stuff, very sharp. I have not played much in the rocks, though I have run the pumice pit quite a bit, not to much penalty for crashes there.

Times

FYI: most of the group rides Sunday between 7 and 11 ish. My family and I like Saturday mornings between 8 and noon.

Feel free to post to the Boise thread or PM me if you have a time you think might work out.

re:times

I see you play in the snow, sounds cold. My fall is starting to look pretty booked. November may be an option. I appreciate the invitation.
