That 200 would be great and if it isn't close you can always ship for between 190 to 250 ish from a near bye dealer.

If the 250 is in good shape and you can get it for 3K w/o any added costs, I say go for that, put a slow throttle on it and give it a whirl. If its beat up, I know the 200 was in great shape. Ask for some new photos to be sure and im sure you could finagle shipping with the seller. Crate and ship is about $300 to a forward air terminal. Trailer-ed delivery is around $400.

As much as I like 200's, they can be harder to sell unless you find the right buyer - also a good reason to be aggressive if you do want it. The 09 has the round frame over the 08. Really comes down to condition.

Got some more detailed pictures of the 2009 GG 250 txt pro. The seller said he would take $3200 for it but it definitely has some use. He said he purchased it from a local dealer used. Any opinions? I really don't know what would be considered "good" condition as I imagine these bikes get dropped all the time. Thanks again for all the input, it's rough being a noob!

Check the frame for signs of cracking just above the radiator and just below the steering head.

This is perfect condition? The chain is at full stretch, not the original chain tensioner block, cant see the sprockets very good, but dont look great from what I can see, need to put a washer behind the mid box muffler mount to pull the silencer out away from the new tire to stop it from rubbing (common) - i dont know, id rather have the seller be honest with me and say its used but no abused than say its perfect and give me this. I'd pay around $2600-$2800 for a bike in this condition assuming it has a smooth shifting tranny and its noise free. (other than alittle "clutch" noise when the levers not pulled in) The 200 near me has ALOT fewer hours on it. (or at least it did when sold to him)

All things considered, I would much rather have that 200. If he still has it in a week or so I may offer to take the wife to New England to see the leaves change Thanks for all the info, it looked pretty used from the photo's but I also figured that these get dropped often and have no frame of reference so again, thank you. I would agree with 2600 to maybe 2800, my wife's 2008 txt pro was in near showroom condition compared to the pictures I see here and because of that and the fact it's hard to find the 125s I payed 3200. (That was almost 12 months ago at this point.)

2 day trials event this weekend just outside Williamsport Pa.
Should be some bikes with for sale signs available to tire kick.
d6trials website has a event flyer posted with directions.
Easy to walk loop to come check out the action.
If you come sunday look for a dark green excursion with large white enclosed trailer, stop by and say hello
Oh, should be close to prime leaf peeping season so that would give you a reason to drive that direction.

My advice would be to not stress too much about the bike. As long as it's not broken it'll be fine. They all work quite well and will be way better than most riders will ever be. FWIW I bought about the first used trials bike I found in my area which happened to be a Cota 315R. It's proven reliable and worlds more capable than me (and as far as noob trials riders go I do ok)

Spend most of your time and money on riding, participating in events and taking classes like the ones Ryan Young does.
