I'm not sure how I feel about honda 90's being considered "scooters" by this forum but this seems like the appropriate place for this pic. Here is my collection of ct90's ranging from '66 to '72. Please note the super rare roadster kit top tank I'm running on the '70.

Hey Tuna, how ya doing? I can't believe they refer to these motorcycles as "scooters". They are so faulty. Haha!

Just paid for a pair of '84's that were mothballed up north in storage for over 25 years. Taking delivery next week.
Hoping they won't have rusty tanks or shellacked carbs from improper storage.

Here's the neat part.... combined mileage... 493 !!!! (238 on one and 255 on the other)

Word was if they weren't on a road trip with their motorhome, they were tucked away in the garage.

Very excited. My gal has never piloted a motorcycle and this bike seems like a good way to ease her into it. Fingers crossed
Will post up pictures and a video of her first ever motorcycle riding endeavor once we receive them and I complete pre-flight checks and prep.

Here is a picture of one (both are identical) from the listing that I bought them from.

Shipper may pick them up tomorrow. Said he will video their condition as part of his SOP. Not sure if he will send the video my way. The listing pictures were mediocre, but sufficient to set the hook.
One has a broken headlight shell according to the seller. Aside from looking like there is decades of dust and crud on the fork boots, a layer of rust inducing sediment on their cylider heads, and overtightened battery cover knobs (which appears to have produced depressions in the battery covers) they appear to resemble what their odometers indicate. They are 1,010 miles from my tree-house, so I'm out on a limb as to what they behold.

Shipper said he may have them here as early as Monday.
My girl thinks I only bought one. Hope she doesn't mind seeing double.

They are coming from Flint MI. They wanted $1,999 each via eBay. Both auctions ran their course with no takers, after which they accepted my offer of $3,500 for the pair. Not a "steal" by any stretch, but reasonable from what I'd seen.

A 1972 CT90 sold for $3,650 during the same week.

Another boring update

Shipper said they are dirty but nice (insert "That's what she said" here). Also said one refused to start. Probably fuel related. Ordered two aftermarket carbs and new parts for the headlight on the one. Might be here as early as Sunday

Yeh, I say you got a ok deal but that one for $3600+ WOW that's the most I've ever seen somebody pay for one, it's a beauty but.... I've been around these for years riding them and working on them, that was pricey, somebody wanted it bad, but it is Mars Orange.
