BW aand Tri-Z

Hi Röhrich,
Those are cool, It looks like both have extended swingarm's for whatever reason they used them for, maybe hill-climbing ?
It make's them look like stretch versions of what I had in mind.
Wonder if he had a BW swing-arm if it would have ended up different.

350 test

Put about 5 hours on the 350 today in the 90° Florida heat. Ran great except for a lot of engine noise that I think may be valves??? Anyone run had to adjust valves? If so how difficult is it. I have not had as much experience with 4 strokes the only valves I have messed with were reeds. Going to check out the manual, but wanted to get your advice first.

Hey all, still not much new with my BW but I keep finding great little gems that force me to accept the fact that we are a odd bunch of enthusiasts with a common interest in strange and quirky bikes.

Found this video on LiveLeak yesterday and had to share with you.

Enjoy :-)

no problem, should be simple, line up the crank and stick a feeler gauge in there. i need to do the same before our next excursion.

Great machine, tell us more...

Boscrowe,

Welcome to the island of misfits and broken toys. Of course this is exactly where you should be hanging out.

Did you do all the fabrication yourself? Actually, it once crossed my mind that Polaris has most of the parts laying around to build such a machine.

Yeah man , custom built from my garage. Its only at the testing stage as of now . And last night added another link in the trans /jackshaft chain then put in a chain tensioner and its riding really good . Next is some rear frame cut and fab . And I'm thinking a differnt gas tank. No shift is kind of nice .

Sad days indeed.

However, serious bidders often wait until the very last minute and try to sniper the sale. That keeps the price from being driven up artificially and the early bidders are usually just bidding for their recreation.

I wish you weren't on the other side of the continent from us up here.
