1997 Triumph Tiger 855, 19K miles, VG condition

But $3995.00? It looks decent in the photos, but there appears to be some rust at a joint on the right lower exhaust or frame?.

Regardless, this seems high given prices from NADA/KBB. Any thoughts?

Price seems high to me also... for comparison this 01 has been for sale for a while in the Bay Area, an area which usually commands higher prices.... newer, 955 motor, lower miles, saddlebags, etc

I think if you look around more you can find one 10 years newer for the same price.

I just paid $4k for a 2008 Tiger 1050 with hard bags and full bling. So I would say that is high.

Thanks everyone. I thought the same. I’ll wait and see if his price drops.

Nice bike, but price is definitely high.

My friend David bought a '98 Steamer at the beginning of the year for $2000. Mileage is higher and paint on the tank was bubbling due to ethanol, but it's in great mechanical shape.

Here's what it looked like when he bought it:

In the meantime he's ridden it on a long trip with me and done a bunch of work to it. Here's what it looks like now (pic taken two days ago on the Bayley Hazen Military Road in Vermont):
