woo hoo....made an offer and have a commitment on a 2006 blue and white scrambler. Matches my 71 scrambler perfectly, father and son so to speak. I wanted the 06 for the silver motor. Should pick it up this weekend. Some extras on it, less than 8k miles.

I'm excited. Once cleaned up I'll pose it for pics with the father bike and post them.

I'm a happy man right now.

Hi XT,

Just curious, how do you like the mini cones vs the arrow? I bought my bike with low pipes from previous owner and i switched to BC headers & mini cones but too loud. Now I have stock pipes but with mini cones like yours. The sound is just about perfect and the power delivery is smooth. I bought the stock pipes with stock mufflers off the fleabay but those stock mufflers are too damn heavy. I probably have spent about the same as the arrow by the time it is all said and done. Next up...shocks and fork springs!

Big congrats man. I love my Scrambler, it's fun on a 6 day trip or a 6 mile ride to watch a game at the local sports bar. Just get used to talking to a lot of strangers!

Great! I have an '06 in the blue & white also. It is a sharp cmbo with gold pinstripe between. You'll have lots of fun with that bike.

I really like the looks of the stock head pipes and mini cone/megs but they are just a tad too loud for me but I'm working on a baffle solution. Performance is on par with the Arrow. On my Arrow I have a modified db killer (shortened). I didn't need to change jetting when going from the Arrow to the current setup.

Oh by the way, I have Works Performance Street Tracker Shocks and HyperPro fork Springs on both my Scrambler and Thruxton and am very pleased.

Just put a deposit down on a 2014. It's in a crate at the shop at the moment. To be assembled and brought home in a week or so. She's the red/silver combo. Trading in my 2012 bonneville. This will be my 3rd modern classic, first scrambler.

Cool. Any idea if the 2014 rims are alloy or steel?

No idea. I'm talking with my sales guy tomorrow, I'll try to remember to ask.
