does anyone know if a late model suzuki gsxr stock muffler would pass a offroad spark arrester test? or will they write me up for riding on a trail. for example a bmw f650gs with a stock gsxr muffler. thanks!

If it is legal there will be a stamp on the muffler.

The FMF spark arrestor fits perfectly into the gsxr pipe, just need to shorten the pipe about 1/4" so it will fit inside the cover. The SA costs about $25 and keeps you legal since it has the FS approved stamp.

I did it on mine, worked great!

I knew there was a better muffler for my Dakar! It's probably buried 600 pages back in the Dakar thread; I couldn't find it. How does it sound?
