Even that glamour shot does doesn't help.

Ride one. After that you won't care if it looked like a Victory Vision.

I saw one of these in a parking garage today.

I looked around, saw no one, and did something I've never done before ... I sat on someone else's bike. I had to. I felt ridiculous on the little thing. And yet, I really kinda' liked it. Too bad I'd never be caught dead riding one .

Its a Transformer, right?
It makes a funny sound and then turns into an actual motorcycle, doesn't it?

Maybe you're seeing the "inner" beauty.

Weld, my wife rides a Vespa and wants me to go on rides with her; I'm not a Vespa-rado, so I was thinking of getting this Grom 125... The youtube vids make it look like it's pretty fun...

Really wouldn't mind riding off into the sunset and taking fry cook jobs for food and gas money, sleeping under the stars, and not caring about anything else for a while.

Just sitting on one at the dealer made me want to laugh out loud with glee! I've seen those videos & it is the coolest toy I've seen in a decade. I'd like to see a 250 version of it but, it needs to stay as small as possible in order to retain it's character. I wouldn't drop the cash on one but, i don't blame anyone who does as it is obviously a hoot.

You can find nice examples out there if you patiently search, I'm going to look at an '11 with 2100 miles tomorrow.

This reminds me of a comment Dave Edwards made about the BMW K1200R. He said it looked like someone rode a magnet thru a junkyard.

You're right. I'd ride one . I'd get in trouble though. The thing just begs to jump curbs etc. I envision something like that chase scene with the Mini Cooper in the Bourne Indentity
