Sure the more the merrier, I am no hotshot though and won't be real fast off the pavement.

PM me if you want to come along. Maybe lunch in Wendover then hit the trail?

Went down and test rode it last night. In love / it would be perfect. There is only one hickup. My wife is pretty adamantly opposed right now. Normally I don't let things like this have much of an impact (just buy what I want) but she is pretty strongly opinionated on it and pretty adament that I don't get it. with luck I can talk her into it and that it hangs around at the dealer for another day or two. It would literally be perfect. Only thing visibly wrong with it is has a bad headset bearing, which is a pretty easy fix that I've done before. Pretty sure you don't have to worry about it anymore. A friend posted on Facebook a pic of him standing in front of BMW next to his new KTM.

That is a killer deal. Sucks it didn't work out but at least it went to someone that will ride it and put some character marks on it.

With winter coming quick I'm sure there will be other deals around. Who knows maybe Fano will finally sell his since it hasnt been out of the garage since Nov 2008. :what:::what:

Haven't checked in for a while....maybe even a few years? Looks like business as usual around here.

Unfortunately, I have decided to sell my bike. Life as a teacher has finally caught up to me. I thought I would be able to use my summer to explore them there hills, but summers come and the "honey do" lists come out. In addition, being a cheapskate to begin with I can't stand seeing a good bike depreciate with little use. If your interested it is a 2008 WR250R that I am selling for $3800. It's only got 26xx miles on it. Most of those are getting me to work and back. The bikes in really good condition everything has remained stock. PM me if you want more info. or pictures. I do plan on getting an older dirt bike. One that I don't feel guilty about neglecting.

I've never done this loop but looking at the website, the Strom should be fine.

Thanks for the plug Rick. As much as I hate to sell it, I hate seeing a good bike deteriorate from lack of use more.

I've got a garage full of those.

I decided to go to the lake instead of the tunnel ride. What a beautiful day!

Went out on a kayak for a while to check out how the fishing was going.

Check out this beauty they landed as I pulled up.

I'm off to the hills now.

Tried some trails I had not been on before. Ran into some of this white stuff in the shady spots.

Then into a trail blocker. Did not have a chain saw with me so it was low gear and around it.

More virgin trail.

More rock than I was man to go over it.

Glamor shot...

swoooosh

Lots of easy dirt if you could keep your eyes off the scenery and on the road.

More to explore near Wendover! Great ride buzzsaw!
