Yes, that's Ed China of Wheeler Dealers. Quite a creative guy, but uncertain about his choice of sidecar in the picture.

In the late 60's and early 70's I used to go, loads of fun to see. The Jawa's really gave me a respect I didn't have for their street 2 smokes..

It is too bad the Supercross is all we get on regular TV, way too much jumping around for me.

For some sidecar mayhem there's Sidecar Cross

Ah, the smell of Castrol ... my first real bike. If I took off hard and looked in the mirrors I couldn't see who was behind me

Probably the only game in racing that money and technology hasn't spoiled!! YES wish it was bigger here in the USA. They do run them up around Owego N Y ,,,,, Google Champion Speedway. http://www.speedwaybikes.com/tracks/owego_ny.htm
Speeway sidecars are also very cool.

yes, champion speedway, jason bonsignore's track.

i rode speedway 3 seasons, broke too many bones, hung it up.

took a few laps as the "swinger" on a sidecar......... more fun than any rollercoaster ever. something about 130hp no brakes and flyin around like a bat out of hell.

its a great time.

its making a pretty decent comeback in so cal, with lots of younger talent (what the sport needs)

brian motis, the driver of the number 2 car, is a paraplegic.

911 is a ducati, #1 & #2 are gsxr powered, and the red bike is a wore out old KZ1000.

on a good turn out for sidecars there is 12-16 teams,

not as good as regular speedway (track is too narrow to really pass) but its a great show. they really hook it up on a longer track
