Okay tomorrows ride will be up the 15 to 76 to get started.
then to Nate Harrison and up over the mtn.
then to 76 to Mega Grande then 78 thru Julian and San Pasqual Rds

there is a road that kinda parallels Julian Rd off the mtn but on google maps it doesn't have a name. any ideas?

anyone who wants to ride or has a better route frm downtown SD up and back home please feel free to post or message me - I'll be leaving around 8-ish AM tomorrow.

Sorry I didn't catch you this morning, but on the next ride up that way;

I5N >>52E >> 67N >> Lakeside >> E on Mapleview St >> N on Ashford
which turns into Wildcat Canyon Rd >> Left on San Vicente Rd to Ramona.
Right (E) on 78 >> Left (N) on Magnolia Ave which turns into Black Canyon
Rd and continue on to Mesa Grande. Check it on the map, it's not hard and
a great ride.

I can't even freaking talk about the ducks, especially since they are barely beating state.

Anyway, I didn't get a chance to ride it. I didn't want to risk running into a gate or anything. I kind of regret that now, I might go tomorrow.

another trip up palomar.

Ran palomar again with the Garmin VIRB and a few buddies.

1. i had it set to "zoom" so dont try lifting your head to see more sky, it doesnt work... ha. i have since fixed the setting.

2. the mic is a known crappy issue, so the wind noise is what it is... no fixin it now.

3. i actually dragged hard parts (@ 8:47 i dragged the skid plate) cuz i was pushin the ol' girl to her limits and that is not recomended...

4. NEVER PASS on the fookin' INSIDE (@ 1:46). i didn't see that leathered up clown until he was in front of me, nearly shat my shorts...

Right on man - nice to meet ya! - i see you are at MCAS. I work in mira mesa at Mira mesa Blvd & Steadman. i ride my bicycle to work past MCAS a few times a week. If you see a big dude on a white GT roadbike with a seatpost rack thats me. otherwise im on an Orange 09 Wee. I'm sure we'll meet up soon!

thanks for the info - im not too familair with the dirty parts, but the 2-lane backroads are my curiosity right now. im about to post a day trip about SD to Niland near Salton Sea...
