Thought of Trevor today seeing a vintage Honda running around. Hope all is moving forward...

Took some ADVers over to Trevor's tonight to work on his damaged wheelchair ramp; though it has been a very hard week for all concerned, the results of tonight's labor made it all worthwhile...

Took some time to walk Trevor through his Go West Young Man ride report; it helps him to remember the good times:

Pam showed me some great pics as well, pre accident, obviously:

Pam is doing great working with Trevor on his PT; she isn't getting much help at all from the government, so she has devised exercises around the house. He is pulling himself out if his chair using a railing to assist, then lowering himself slowly back into his chair; very amazing progress.

I was feeling kind of bummed today. Boy did this help brighten things up.

This is promising! Best wishes.

400.00 to go; I would like to be the one to kick it over 20000 and start another fund raiser but won't complain if I'm not... The need is as great as ever, the case doesn't go to civil court until 2/14, and funds are hard to come by...

Wheelchair ramp donated by local ADVers:

Just talked to Pam; they were informed today that Trevor's surgery has been put off for three months, and he is not a happy camper... Knowing Trevor's willfulness, I suspect that he being quite a handful; your thoughts, prayers, or any support, moral or otherwise, would be greatly appreciated. Her FB is under Pamela Padgett Ware, or Trevor Ware, and Trevor's PayPal is boxnife@gmail.com

Congratulations, the 20k goal has been reached! Today is Pam's birthday, and this makes a fine present!!! If you go to the Everibbon site and scroll down through the donations, you will see that a huge majority of these donation since May have came from inmates; not only has the money been important, but the timing even more so. This has came at a time when Trevor's situation has faded away in the eyes of the local media, and there are times when they feel truly alone, but when I can show Trevor that these threads are still active, it brightens his eyes. I'm proud to be part if this community.

recent post from Pam:

We still have an appointment with the ortho surgeon next monday but the ankle specialist wants to wait three months before considering surgery. He said the healing is still ongoing and what Trevor needs most is a lot of PT ( medicaid will pay for 12 visits per year). So, the good news is his ankle IS doing well. As for the PT, pray for me to have the energy needed to stretch those muscles and wrestle him around (maybe I'll lose some weight!). Hopefully his elbow will be ready for surgery by the time they re-visit his ankle. I'm just wondering what the new question of the month will be IF he remembers consistently that surgery is postponed. He'll also need a new bargaining chip, example: "I'll stop texting random numbers if you get me walking surgery". Dear Lord, please give me strength and Trevor divine patience!
