straight pipes make me want to walk down the line in a parking lot with a pair of big channellocks, crimping tailpipes one after the other.

At the same time put idle screws in them, so they don't have to constantly blip their throttles at stop lights.

I wish I had the balls to carry a pocket full of small screws that I could offer to the guys at the stop lights, but I like my health too much to provoke a reaction.

..

Before getting a HD I always said, " I wouldn't own a Harley if it wouldn't idle. I said that believing that the bikes really would idle it was just the nature of the riders to make all that noise. Well, time passed and I found myself in a position to own a pretty nice Harley for very little money. Thankfully it idled just fine and I didn't have to play that game of throttle blipping.

Rode it for a year and a half with no idle or starting problems, then the forks sprung a leak. I took it to a local independent HD service shop to get it fixed. When I picked it up I put the choke on, started it and rode away like any other time. The first stop after opening the choke, the bike died. Restarted and rode away. Fourteen miles later stopped at a red light, died again.

When I got home I checked the idle screw, it had been backed out. Must be a conspiracy

Hadn't seen that, thanks. I was just looking for pics of the Moto Mule when I found that. Likely more weight than I'll ever put on mine.

That trailer does swivel. Look at the hitch setup.
