I got a set last year for just this reason as well. Probably the best moto-accessory purchase I've ever made. Gotta love hearing them having fun, plus the ability to warn them about upcoming maneuvers, bumps and such is priceless.

So, I've been following this thread since it started, but just now decided to share. These are my two chicas sometime last year. (now 9 and 7 years old)

She now has matching moto-pants as well. That helmet was a bit too big on her at the time, but fits well now.

And I've got this 5 year old joker as a chaser, who fits all the gear my youngest daughter wears fortunately:

They just go on neighborhood rides with me for now, as I need to get some peg risers and proper boots for them before I feel comfy taking them out on longer rides.

I'm in the process of gradually accumulating gear to take them on some dad+1 camping rides in the (hopefully) near future. Looking forward to that immensely.

Thanks for sharing, everyone. I've enjoyed all the stories and pictures over the years. Now back to lurking for me...

It is all Held stuff. I bought it on closeout directly from the Held North America website. Jacket and pants were ~$80 each and gloves were ~$40. All of it is exceptionally good quality for the price. They have CE armor and removable liners...very nice stuff. Makes me jealous every time I gear them up and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I bought the setup pictured as a birthday present to myself last year so I could take them further than the driveway without worrying about them so much. Picked up a second smaller set of the pants for the younger two this summer.

Jacket: Maddox
Pants: Nelix
Gloves: Sensato

my daughter loves riding!

My daughter started riding with me when she was five and began overnight touring trips with me when she was eight. Great times together that both of us will always remember!

Too small for her jacket - heading out for an early spring camping trip in 2008.

With her brother on a trip up the Blue Ridge Parkway in 2010.

Across the Cherohala in late winter 2011.

Last May at the Bixby Bridge.

A picture I just got from someone who had taken it at a trials event in October of my daughter a few weeks before she turned 17. It was just too good not to post somewhere

So many great stories and photos on here . . . figured it was about time I shared one. She's too young to ride . . . but not too young to dream

My kids are grown, boy 27, girl 21 granddaughter 3.5, they all were riding with me by 6-8 month around the pastures looking at calves and going around the hay fields, then both had there own bikes before they were 10..... for some reason these stories and pics of these girls riding just does something to my eyes, stuff keeps coming out of them...

I have a special place in my heart for daughters...

I found this in another thread and thought y'all might appreciate it.
This blurry pic is of a very talented young woman and her dad:

she gave her dads bike a spectacular paint job and I bet he is real proud of his little girl:

it's a nice little photo essay of her, see more here
